महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-142, verse-15

शत्रोरपि प्रपन्नस्य सोऽनृशंसः प्रतापवान् ।
दाताभयस्य बीभत्सुरमितात्मा महाबलः ॥१५॥
15. śatrorapi prapannasya so'nṛśaṁsaḥ pratāpavān ,
dātābhayasya bībhatsuramitātmā mahābalaḥ.

dātā abhayasya bībhatsuḥ amitātmā mahābalaḥ
15. Even for an enemy who has sought refuge, he is compassionate, glorious, a giver of protection, formidable (bībhatsu), great-souled (ātman), and immensely powerful.
