महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-75, verse-22

सर्वमेतन्नरव्याघ्र भवत्वेतावता कृतम् ।
योधाश्चापि न हन्तव्या धनंजय रणे त्वया ॥२२॥
22. sarvametannaravyāghra bhavatvetāvatā kṛtam ,
yodhāścāpi na hantavyā dhanaṁjaya raṇe tvayā.
22. sarvam etat nara-vyāghra bhavatu etāvatā kṛtam
yodhāḥ ca api na hantavyāḥ dhanañjaya raṇe tvayā
22. O tiger among men (Arjuna), let all this (action/restraint) be accomplished to this extent. And Dhananjaya, the warriors too should not be killed by you in battle.
