महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-141, verse-11

अत्रिणा दह्यमानांस्तान्दृष्ट्वा देवा महासुरान् ।
पराक्रमैस्तेऽपि तदा व्यत्यघ्नन्नत्रिरक्षिताः ॥११॥
11. atriṇā dahyamānāṁstāndṛṣṭvā devā mahāsurān ,
parākramaiste'pi tadā vyatyaghnannatrirakṣitāḥ.

parākramaiḥ te api tadā vyatyaghnan atrirakṣitāḥ

11. When they saw those great asuras being consumed by Atri, the gods, thus protected by Atri, also struck them down then with their own valorous deeds.
