महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-3, verse-25

अतिदुःखमिदं मूढ न जातु ब्राह्मणः सहेत् ।
क्षत्रियस्यैव ते धैर्यं कामया सत्यमुच्यताम् ॥२५॥
25. atiduḥkhamidaṁ mūḍha na jātu brāhmaṇaḥ sahet ,
kṣatriyasyaiva te dhairyaṁ kāmayā satyamucyatām.
25. ati duḥkham idam mūḍha na jātu brāhmaṇaḥ sahet
kṣatriyasya eva te dhairyam kāmayā satyam ucyatām
25. mūḍha,
idam ati duḥkham; brāhmaṇaḥ na jātu sahet.
te dhairyam kṣatriyasya eva; kāmayā satyam ucyatām.
25. O fool, this is exceedingly painful; a brāhmaṇa should never endure such a thing. Your fortitude is indeed like that of a kṣatriya; speak the truth as you wish.
