महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-3, verse-1

नारद उवाच ।
कर्णस्य बाहुवीर्येण प्रश्रयेण दमेन च ।
तुतोष भृगुशार्दूलो गुरुशुश्रूषया तथा ॥१॥
1. nārada uvāca ,
karṇasya bāhuvīryeṇa praśrayeṇa damena ca ,
tutoṣa bhṛguśārdūlo guruśuśrūṣayā tathā.

1. Nārada said: The tiger among the Bhṛgus (Paraśurāma) was pleased by Karṇa's strength of arm, by his humility, by his self-control, and also by his service to his teacher (guru).
