महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-3, verse-24

एवमुक्त्वा नमस्कृत्य ययौ रामं महासुरः ।
रामः कर्णं तु सक्रोधमिदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥२४॥
24. evamuktvā namaskṛtya yayau rāmaṁ mahāsuraḥ ,
rāmaḥ karṇaṁ tu sakrodhamidaṁ vacanamabravīt.
24. evam uktvā namaskṛtya yayau rāmam mahāsuraḥ
rāmaḥ karṇam tu sakrodham idam vacanam abravīt
24. mahāsuraḥ evam uktvā namaskṛtya rāmam yayau.
tu rāmaḥ sakrodham idam vacanam karṇam abravīt.
24. Having spoken thus and offered obeisance, the great asura departed to Rāma. Then Rāma, filled with anger, spoke these words to Karṇa.
