महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-186, verse-26

ज्ञानपूर्वं कृतं पापं छादयन्त्यबहुश्रुताः ।
नैनं मनुष्याः पश्यन्ति पश्यन्ति त्रिदिवौकसः ॥२६॥
26. jñānapūrvaṁ kṛtaṁ pāpaṁ chādayantyabahuśrutāḥ ,
nainaṁ manuṣyāḥ paśyanti paśyanti tridivaukasaḥ.

26. The unlearned (those lacking extensive knowledge) conceal sins committed knowingly. While humans do not perceive such hidden transgressions, the celestial beings (tridivaukasaḥ) certainly do.
