वाय्वग्न्यशनिनिष्पेषैः फलपुष्पं विशीर्यते ।

12. Fruits and flowers are shattered by the destructive impacts of wind, fire, and lightning. Sound (śabda) is perceived by the ear. Therefore, plants (pādapāḥ) hear.
