महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-98, verse-23

संतानार्थं महाभाग भार्यासु मम मानद ।
पुत्रान्धर्मार्थकुशलानुत्पादयितुमर्हसि ॥२३॥
23. saṁtānārthaṁ mahābhāga bhāryāsu mama mānada ,
putrāndharmārthakuśalānutpādayitumarhasi.

23. O great-souled one, O giver of honor, you should beget sons, skilled in righteousness (dharma) and prosperity (artha), in my wives, for the continuation of my lineage (saṃtāna).
