महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-98, verse-1

भीष्म उवाच ।
जामदग्न्येन रामेण पितुर्वधममृष्यता ।
क्रुद्धेन च महाभागे हैहयाधिपतिर्हतः ।
शतानि दश बाहूनां निकृत्तान्यर्जुनस्य वै ॥१॥
1. bhīṣma uvāca ,
jāmadagnyena rāmeṇa piturvadhamamṛṣyatā ,
kruddhena ca mahābhāge haihayādhipatirhataḥ ,
śatāni daśa bāhūnāṁ nikṛttānyarjunasya vai.

1. Bhishma said: 'O highly fortunate one, by Rama, the son of Jamadagni, who could not tolerate his father's murder and was enraged, the lord of the Haihayas was killed. Indeed, a thousand of Arjuna's arms were cut off.'
