कामात्मानं तदात्मानं न शशाक नियच्छितुम् ॥११॥

Thus properly addressed by her, Bṛhaspati, who possessed great spiritual radiance (bṛhattejāḥ), was then unable to control his own self (ātman), which was completely engrossed in desire (kāma).
