एवमुक्तस्तथेत्युक्त्वा सोऽस्तीको मातरं तदा ।
अब्रवीद्दुःखसंतप्तं वासुकिं जीवयन्निव ॥१७॥

Sūta said: Being addressed in this way, Astika then replied to his mother with 'So be it!', speaking as if he were reviving the sorrow-stricken Vāsuki.
