मन्दपाल उवाच ।
न स्त्रीणां विद्यते किंचिदन्यत्र पुरुषान्तरात् ।
सापत्नकमृते लोके भवितव्यं हि तत्तथा ॥२६॥

26. mandapāla uvāca ,
na strīṇāṁ vidyate kiṁcidanyatra puruṣāntarāt ,
sāpatnakamṛte loke bhavitavyaṁ hi tattathā.

Mandapāla said: 'For women, nothing truly exists apart from another man. In this world, the only exception to this is co-wifehood; indeed, that is how it must be.'
