महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-154, verse-12

ब्राह्मण उवाच ।
तथेत्युक्त्वा ततस्तस्मै प्रददौ भृगुनन्दनः ।
प्रतिगृह्य ततो द्रोणः कृतकृत्योऽभवत्तदा ॥१२॥

12. brāhmaṇa uvāca ,
tathetyuktvā tatastasmai pradadau bhṛgunandanaḥ ,
pratigṛhya tato droṇaḥ kṛtakṛtyo'bhavattadā.

12. brāhmaṇaḥ uvāca tathā iti uktvā tataḥ tasmai pradadau
bhṛgunandanaḥ pratigṛhya tataḥ droṇaḥ kṛtakṛtyaḥ abhavat tadā

12. Rama (the brahmin) said, "So be it." Having spoken thus, the son of Bhrigu (Rama) then gave them to Drona. Having received them, Drona felt his purpose was fulfilled (kṛtakṛtya) at that time.
