महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-154, verse-7

स नित्यमाश्रमं गत्वा द्रोणेन सह पार्षतः ।
चिक्रीडाध्ययनं चैव चकार क्षत्रियर्षभः ॥७॥
7. sa nityamāśramaṁ gatvā droṇena saha pārṣataḥ ,
cikrīḍādhyayanaṁ caiva cakāra kṣatriyarṣabhaḥ.

cikrīḍa adhyayanam ca eva cakāra kṣatriyarṣabhaḥ
7. Pṛṣata's son (Drupada), that best among kṣatriyas, would daily go to the hermitage (āśrama) and, along with Droṇa, played and studied.
