महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-154, verse-19

आचार्यवेतनं किंचिद्धृदि संपरिवर्तते ।
कृतास्त्रैस्तत्प्रदेयं स्यात्तदृतं वदतानघाः ॥१९॥
19. ācāryavetanaṁ kiṁciddhṛdi saṁparivartate ,
kṛtāstraistatpradeyaṁ syāttadṛtaṁ vadatānaghāḥ.
19. ācāryavetanam kiñcit hṛdi saṃparivartate kṛtāstraiḥ
tat pradeyam syāt tat ṛtam vadatā anaghāḥ
19. A certain remuneration for the teacher (ācārya) is revolving in my mind. That should be given by those who have mastered their weapons. O sinless ones, declare this truth.
