4. O best of Bharatas, while he was engaged in that great austerity (tapas) for a long time, robbers carrying plunder arrived at his hermitage (āśramapada), being pursued by many guards.

4. הו אדם דגול משושלת בְּהַרַטַה, כעבור זמן רב, בעודו מתמיד בתרגול ההוא, הגיעו אל אותו משכן שודדים הנושאים שלל גנוב, כשהם נרדפים על ידי שומרים רבים.
