शीघ्रमाचक्ष्व मे तत्त्वं पश्य मे तपसो बलम् ॥२३॥

23.
What evil deed (karma) did I commit unknowingly, the result of which I have received in such a severe form? Quickly tell me the truth; behold the power of my asceticism (tapas).
