ब्रह्माण्डखण्डमस्याधो विस्तृतं पादयोस्तलम् ।

10. Below him, the soles of his feet are a vast, spread-out fragment of the cosmic egg (brahmāṇḍa). The hollows of his kneecaps are the cavernous depths of the netherworlds (pātāla) below.
