न वयं निर्णयं विद्मो वन्ध्यापुत्रगिरामिव ॥ १२ ॥

asatāmeva sadbhāvamiva yeṣāmupeyuṣām ,
na vayaṃ nirṇayaṃ vidmo vandhyāputragirāmiva 12

yeṣām asatām eva sadbhāvam iva upeyuṣām (viṣaye),
vayam vandhyāputragirām iva nirṇayam na vidmaḥ.

We are unable to make any definite ascertainment concerning those who have adopted a state of perceived existence (sadbhāva) for that which is non-existent, just as we cannot make sense of the words of a barren woman's son.
