योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-31, verse-27

अथवा शान्ततैवास्य निर्वाणस्यावशिष्यते ।
निर्वासनः किल मुनिः कथं व्यवहरत्वसौ ॥ २७ ॥
athavā śāntataivāsya nirvāṇasyāvaśiṣyate ,
nirvāsanaḥ kila muniḥ kathaṃ vyavaharatvasau 27
27. athavā śāntatā eva asya nirvāṇasya avaśiṣyate
nirvāsanaḥ kila muniḥ katham vyavaharatu asau
27. athavā asya nirvāṇasya śāntatā eva avaśiṣyate
kila nirvāsanaḥ muniḥ asau katham vyavaharatu
27. Alternatively, only serenity remains as his final liberation (nirvāṇa). For how can such a sage, truly free from latent desires, engage in worldly activity?
