योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-31, verse-35

कलनारहितं शान्तं यद्रूपं परमात्मनः ।
भवत्यसौ तत्तद्भावादतद्भावान्न तद्भवेत् ॥ ३५ ॥
kalanārahitaṃ śāntaṃ yadrūpaṃ paramātmanaḥ ,
bhavatyasau tattadbhāvādatadbhāvānna tadbhavet 35
35. kalanā-rahitam śāntam yat rūpam paramātmanaḥ bhavati
asau tat-tat-bhāvāt a-tat-bhāvāt na tat bhavet
35. kalanā-rahitam śāntam yat rūpam paramātmanaḥ (asti).
asau tat-tat-bhāvāt (eva) bhavati,
a-tat-bhāvāt tat na bhavet.
35. One becomes that peaceful form of the Supreme Self (paramātman), which is devoid of all mental constructs, by identifying with that very nature. One does not become it by not identifying with that nature.
