योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-148, verse-17

यथा स्वप्नं समालोक्य सुषुप्तमनुभूयते ।
तथा जाग्रत्समालोक्य निद्रा समनुभूयते ॥ १७ ॥
yathā svapnaṃ samālokya suṣuptamanubhūyate ,
tathā jāgratsamālokya nidrā samanubhūyate 17

17. Just as after perceiving a dream (svapna), deep sleep (suṣupti) is felt; similarly, after perceiving the waking state (jāgrat), sleep (nidrā) is felt.
