योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-33, verse-12

न रेमे लोकचर्यासु शास्त्रार्थकथनादृते ।
न जायते रतिस्तस्य दृश्ये स्थल इवाजिनी ॥ १२ ॥
na reme lokacaryāsu śāstrārthakathanādṛte ,
na jāyate ratistasya dṛśye sthala ivājinī 12

na jāyate ratiḥ tasya dṛśye sthale iva ajinī
12. śāstrārthakathanāt ṛte lokacaryāsu na reme.

12. He did not delight in worldly activities, except for explaining the meaning of the scriptures. For him, no pleasure arose from visible objects, just as a creeping plant (ajinī) does not thrive in a dry place.
