योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-8, verse-15

पुण्यक्षयानुसंधानात्ततश्चावनिमण्डले ।
तयैव सह मानिन्या पपातोपहताकृतिः ॥ १५ ॥
puṇyakṣayānusaṃdhānāttataścāvanimaṇḍale ,
tayaiva saha māninyā papātopahatākṛtiḥ 15
15. puṇyakṣayānusaṃdhānāt tataḥ ca avanimaṇḍale
tayā eva saha māninyā papāta upahatākṛtiḥ
15. tataḥ ca puṇyakṣayānusaṃdhānāt tayā eva saha
māninyā avanimaṇḍale upahatākṛtiḥ papāta
15. And then, due to the ensuing exhaustion of his merit (puṇya), he fell to the surface of the earth, his form disfigured, along with his proud consort.
