सुवर्णं न स्थितिं याति मलवत्यंशुके यथा ।
एका दृष्टिः स्थितिं याति न म्लाने चित्तके तथा ॥ २२ ॥

Just as gold (suvarṇa) does not attain its proper state or luster on a dirty cloth (aṃśuka), so too, a single vision (dṛṣṭi) does not attain stability in a dull (mlāna) mind (cittaka).
