योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-17, verse-19

चित्सत्तैव जगत्सत्ता जगत्सत्तैव चित्तकम् ।
एकाभावाद्वयोर्नाशः स च सत्यविचारणात् ॥ १९ ॥
citsattaiva jagatsattā jagatsattaiva cittakam ,
ekābhāvādvayornāśaḥ sa ca satyavicāraṇāt 19
19. cit-sattā eva jagat-sattā jagat-sattā eva cittakam
eka-abhāvāt dvayoḥ nāśaḥ saḥ ca satya-vicāraṇāt
19. cit-sattā eva jagat-sattā; jagat-sattā eva cittakam.
dvayoḥ eka-abhāvāt nāśaḥ bhavati,
ca saḥ satya-vicāraṇāt (bhavati).
19. The existence of consciousness (cit) is indeed the existence of the world; the existence of the world is indeed the mind (citta). From the non-existence of one, there is the destruction of both, and that (destruction) results from the investigation of truth (satya-vicāraṇā).
