योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-7, verse-28

श्रुत्वा वचो मुनिवरस्य महानुभावस्तूष्णीमतिष्ठदुपपन्नपदं स वक्तुम् ।
नो युक्तियुक्तकथनेन विनैति तोषं धीमानपूरितमनोऽभिमतश्च लोकः ॥ २८ ॥
śrutvā vaco munivarasya mahānubhāvastūṣṇīmatiṣṭhadupapannapadaṃ sa vaktum ,
no yuktiyuktakathanena vinaiti toṣaṃ dhīmānapūritamano'bhimataśca lokaḥ 28
28. śrutvā vacaḥ munivarasya mahānubhāvaḥ
tūṣṇīm atiṣṭhat upapannapadam saḥ vaktum
na yuktiyuktakathenena vinā eti toṣam
dhīmān apūritamanobhimataḥ ca lokaḥ
28. Having heard the words of the excellent sage, the highly esteemed one remained silent, about to speak fitting words. For, an intelligent person whose mind's desires remain unfulfilled does not attain satisfaction without a logical explanation.
