योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-7, verse-10

त्रातुमर्हसि मामार्तं शरणार्थिनमागतम् ।
अर्थिनां यन्निराशत्वं सत्तमेऽभिभवो हि सः ॥ १० ॥
trātumarhasi māmārtaṃ śaraṇārthinamāgatam ,
arthināṃ yannirāśatvaṃ sattame'bhibhavo hi saḥ 10
10. trātum arhasi mām ārtam śaraṇārthinam āgatam
arthinām yat nirāśatvam sattame abhibhavaḥ hi saḥ
10. You ought to protect me, who am distressed and have come seeking refuge. O best among the virtuous, for the despair (nirāśatvam) of petitioners is indeed a defeat.
