वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-20, verse-17

तस्मादेष महाब्रह्मन् वैवस्वतवधोद्यतः ।
गच्छामि दक्षिणामाशां यत्र सूर्यात्मजो नृपः ॥१७॥
17. tasmādeṣa mahābrahman vaivasvatavadhodyataḥ ,
gacchāmi dakṣiṇāmāśāṃ yatra sūryātmajo nṛpaḥ.

17. Therefore, O great brahmin, being intent on slaying Vaivasvata, I am going to the southern direction, where Sūrya's son is king.
