वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-19, verse-15

तस्य बाणाः पतन्तस्ते चक्रिरे न क्षतं क्व चित् ।
वारिधारा इवाभ्रेभ्यः पतन्त्यो नगमूर्धनि ॥१५॥
15. tasya bāṇāḥ patantaste cakrire na kṣataṃ kva cit ,
vāridhārā ivābhrebhyaḥ patantyo nagamūrdhani.
15. tasya bāṇāḥ patantaḥ te cakrire na kṣatam kva cit
vāridhārāḥ iva abhrebhyaḥ patantyaḥ nagamūrdhani
15. tasya patantaḥ te bāṇāḥ kvacit kṣatam na cakrire
abhrebhyaḥ nagamūrdhani patantyaḥ vāridhārāḥ iva
15. His arrows, falling upon him, did not inflict any wound anywhere, just like streams of rain falling from clouds onto a mountain peak.
