वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-16, verse-14

तौ दृष्ट्वा व्यथितौ रामं निराशौ जीविते तदा ।
कृताञ्जलिपुटौ भीतौ वचनं चेदमूचतुः ॥१४॥
14. tau dṛṣṭvā vyathitau rāmaṃ nirāśau jīvite tadā ,
kṛtāñjalipuṭau bhītau vacanaṃ cedamūcatuḥ.
