वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-16, verse-4

सोढुं न च समर्थो ऽहं युद्धकामस्य संयुगे ।
सुग्रीवस्य च संरम्भं हीनग्रीवस्य गर्जतः ॥४॥
4. soḍhuṃ na ca samartho'haṃ yuddhakāmasya saṃyuge ,
sugrīvasya ca saṃrambhaṃ hīnagrīvasya garjataḥ.
4. soḍhum na ca samarthaḥ aham yuddhakāmasya saṃyuge
sugrīvasya ca saṃrambham hīnagrīvasya garjataḥ
4. aham ca na samarthaḥ soḍhum saṃyuge yuddhakāmasya
hīnagrīvasya garjataḥ sugrīvasya saṃrambham
4. And I am not capable of enduring in battle the fury (saṃrambha) of Sugrīva, who, though having a weakened neck (hīnagrīva), desires battle (yuddhakāma) and roars.
