वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-19, verse-21

ते भित्त्वा रक्षसां वेगाद्वक्षांसि रुधिराप्लुताः ।
विनिष्पेतुस्तदा भूमौ न्यमज्जन्ताशनिस्वनाः ॥२१॥
21. te bhittvā rakṣasāṃ vegādvakṣāṃsi rudhirāplutāḥ ,
viniṣpetustadā bhūmau nyamajjantāśanisvanāḥ.

21. Having pierced the Rākṣasas' chests with great force, those blood-drenched arrows then flew out and sank into the ground with a sound like thunder.
