चिक्षिपुस्तानि शूलानि राघवं प्रति दुर्जयम् ॥१६॥

16. ityevamuktvā saṃrabdhā rākṣasāste caturdaśa ,

cikṣipustāni śūlāni rāghavaṃ prati durjayam.

16.
Having spoken thus, those fourteen enraged Rākṣasas, with their weapons and swords uplifted, rushed directly towards Rāma. They then hurled those spears at the unconquerable Rāghava.
