वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-13, verse-13

ते राजवचनात्तत्र समवेता महीपतिम् ।
अपश्यन्तो ऽब्रुवन् को नु राज्ञो नः प्रतिवेदयेत् ॥१३॥
13. te rājavacanāttatra samavetā mahīpatim ,
apaśyanto'bruvan ko nu rājño naḥ prativedayet.

apaśyantaḥ abruvan kaḥ nu rājñaḥ naḥ prativedayet
13. te rājavacanāt tatra samavetāḥ mahīpatim apaśyantaḥ abruvan,
"kaḥ nu naḥ rājñaḥ prativedayet?"
13. They, having assembled there by the king's command, not seeing the king, said, "Who indeed would inform the king about us?"
