वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-108, verse-6

प्रमादाच्चरितं कच्चित् किं चिन्नावरजस्य मे ।
लक्ष्मणस्यर्षिभिर्दृष्टं नानुरूपमिवात्मनः ॥६॥
6. pramādāccaritaṃ kaccit kiṃ cinnāvarajasya me ,
lakṣmaṇasyarṣibhirdṛṣṭaṃ nānurūpamivātmanaḥ.

lakṣmaṇasya ṛṣibhiḥ dṛṣṭaṃ na anurūpam iva ātmanaḥ

6. I hope that the sages have not observed any inadvertent conduct on the part of my younger brother Lakshmana that would be considered unbecoming of his own nature (ātman).
