वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-108, verse-4

तेषामौत्सुक्यमालक्ष्य रामस्त्वात्मनि शङ्कितः ।
कृताञ्जलिरुवाचेदमृषिं कुलपतिं ततः ॥४॥
4. teṣāmautsukyamālakṣya rāmastvātmani śaṅkitaḥ ,
kṛtāñjaliruvācedamṛṣiṃ kulapatiṃ tataḥ.
4. teṣām autsukyam ālakṣya rāmaḥ tu ātmani śaṅkitaḥ
kṛta-añjaliḥ uvāca idam ṛṣim kulapatim tataḥ
4. tataḥ rāmaḥ tu teṣām autsukyam ālakṣya ātmani

4. Perceiving their agitation, Rāma himself became apprehensive. Then, with joined palms, he spoke this to the sage, the head of the hermitage.
