वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-108, verse-23

इत्युक्तवन्तं रामस्तं राजपुत्रस्तपस्विनम् ।
न शशाकोत्तरैर्वाक्यैरवरोद्धुं समुत्सुकम् ॥२३॥
23. ityuktavantaṃ rāmastaṃ rājaputrastapasvinam ,
na śaśākottarairvākyairavaroddhuṃ samutsukam.

na śaśāka uttaraiḥ vākyaiḥ avaroddhum samutsukam

23. Rāma, the prince, was unable to hold back that ascetic, who had spoken thus and was very eager (to leave), with any countering words.
