वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-72, verse-19

तमेवमुक्त्वा जनको भरतं चाभ्यभाषत ।
गृहाण पाणिं माण्डव्याः पाणिना रघुनन्दन ॥१९॥
19. tamevamuktvā janako bharataṃ cābhyabhāṣata ,
gṛhāṇa pāṇiṃ māṇḍavyāḥ pāṇinā raghunandana.

19. Having spoken thus to him (Lakshmana), Janaka then addressed Bharata: "O delighter of the Raghu lineage, take Mandavi's hand with your hand."
