वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-61, verse-17

कृत्वा शापसमायुक्तान्पुत्रान्मुनिवरस्तदा ।
शुनःशेपमुवाचार्तं कृत्वा रक्षां निरामयाम् ॥१७॥
17. kṛtvā śāpasamāyuktānputrānmunivarastadā ,
śunaḥśepamuvācārtaṃ kṛtvā rakṣāṃ nirāmayām.
17. kṛtvā śāpa-samāyuktān putrān muni-varaḥ tadā
śunaḥśepam uvāca ārtam kṛtvā rakṣām nirāmayām
17. tadā muni-varaḥ putrān śāpa-samāyuktān kṛtvā,
ārtam śunaḥśepam niḥāmayām rakṣām kṛtvā uvāca.
17. Having thus subjected his sons to a curse, the best of sages then spoke to the distressed Śunaḥśepa, creating for him safe protection.
