वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-61, verse-12

मुनेस्तु वचनं श्रुत्वा मधुष्यन्दादयः सुताः ।
साभिमानं नरश्रेष्ठ सलीलमिदमब्रुवन् ॥१२॥
12. munestu vacanaṃ śrutvā madhuṣyandādayaḥ sutāḥ ,
sābhimānaṃ naraśreṣṭha salīlamidamabruvan.

sābhimānam naraśreṣṭha salīlam idam abruvan

12. O best among men, having heard the sage's words, his sons—Madhuṣyanda and others—spoke these words playfully and with a sense of pride.
