वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-19, verse-10

षष्टिर्वर्षसहस्राणि जातस्य मम कौशिक ।
दुःखेनोत्पादितश्चायं न रामं नेतुमर्हसि ॥१०॥
10. ṣaṣṭirvarṣasahasrāṇi jātasya mama kauśika ,
duḥkhenotpāditaścāyaṃ na rāmaṃ netumarhasi.

duḥkheṇa utpāditaḥ ca ayam na rāmam netum arhasi

10. O Kauśika, I am sixty thousand years old, and this (son, Rāma) was begotten with great difficulty. You should not take Rāma.
