बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-84, verse-1

ग्रहाणां दोषशान्त्यर्थं तेषां पूजाविधिं वद ।
मानवानां हितार्थाय संक्षेपात् कृपया मुने ॥१॥
1. grahāṇāṃ doṣaśāntyarthaṃ teṣāṃ pūjāvidhiṃ vada .
mānavānāṃ hitārthāya saṃkṣepāt kṛpayā mune.

1. O sage! For the welfare of human beings, please kindly tell us, in brief, the method of worship (pūjā) for the planets, so that their afflictions may be pacified.
