मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-59, verse-22

चतुर्दशसहस्राणि तेषां सार्धानि वै स्थितिः ।
चन्द्रकान्तश्च शैलेन्द्रः सूर्यकान्तस्तथापरः ॥२२॥
22. caturdaśasahasrāṇi teṣāṃ sārdhāni vai sthitiḥ .
candrakāntaśca śailendraḥ sūryakāntastathāparaḥ.
22. caturdaśasahsrāṇi teṣāṃ sārdhāni vai sthitiḥ
candrakāntaḥ ca śailendraḥ sūryakāntaḥ tathā aparaḥ
22. Their lifespan is indeed fourteen and a half thousand [years]. Chandrakanta (candrakānta) is one great mountain, and Suryakanta (sūryakānta) is the other.
