सप्ताहात् प्रच्युतो मातुरुदरात् कुपितो यतः ।
हैहयेन्द्रमुपावृत्तमपराध्यन्तमुद्धतम् ॥८॥

He (Dattātreya) was angry because he was expelled from his mother's womb after seven days, [and thus he dealt with] the arrogant king of Haihayas, who had approached him and was committing offenses.
