मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-17, verse-17

मुनिपुत्रवृतो योगी दत्तात्रेयोऽप्यसङ्गिताम् ।
अभीप्स्यमानः सरसि निममज्ज चिरं प्रभुः ॥१७॥
17. muniputravṛto yogī dattātreyo'pyasaṅgitām .
abhīpsyamānaḥ sarasi nimamajja ciraṃ prabhuḥ.
17. muniputravṛtaḥ yogī dattātreyaḥ api asaṅgitām
abhiīpsyamānaḥ sarasi nimamajja ciram prabhuḥ
17. The lord (prabhu) Dattatreya, a yogi (yogī) attended by sons of sages (muniputravṛtaḥ), desiring (abhiīpsyamānaḥ) non-attachment (asaṅgitā), plunged into the lake and remained there for a long time.
