महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-51, verse-16

तथेति सा प्रतिश्रुत्य तस्मै पाणिं ददौ तदा ।

16. "So be it," she promised, and then she gave her hand to him. Gālavi then performed the ritual of taking her hand (pāṇigrahaṇa), her marriage.
