महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-32, verse-26

दावाग्न्यभिपरीतानां भूरिगुल्मतृणद्रुमे ।
वनौकसामिवारण्ये त्वदीयानामभूद्भयम् ॥२६॥
26. dāvāgnyabhiparītānāṁ bhūrigulmatṛṇadrume ,
vanaukasāmivāraṇye tvadīyānāmabhūdbhayam.

vanaukasām iva araṇye tvadīyānām abhūt bhayam

26. Among your warriors, fear (bhayam) arose, just as it would for forest dwellers (vanaukasām) in a forest (araṇye) filled with many bushes, grasses, and trees, when engulfed by a raging forest fire (dāvāgnyabhiparītānām).
