महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-32, verse-18

तं चाभिमन्युर्वचनात्पितुर्ज्येष्ठस्य भारत ।
बिभेद दुर्भिदं संख्ये चक्रव्यूहमनेकधा ॥१८॥
18. taṁ cābhimanyurvacanātpiturjyeṣṭhasya bhārata ,
bibheda durbhidaṁ saṁkhye cakravyūhamanekadhā.
18. tam ca abhimanyuḥ vacanāt pituḥ jyeṣṭhasya bhārata
bibheda durbhidam saṅkhye cakravyuham anekadhā
18. bhārata abhimanyuḥ ca jyeṣṭhasya pituḥ vacanāt
tam durbhidam cakravyuham saṅkhye anekadhā bibheda
18. O descendant of Bharata, Abhimanyu, acting on the command of his eldest father (Yudhiṣṭhira), pierced that formidable Chakra (cakravyuha) battle array in many places within the battle (saṅkhye).
